The Metro de Barcelona has closed the platform of the Liceu station on the L3 line of the Metro de Barcelona heading towards Trinitat Nova on Monday afternoon due to water accumulation, following the rains affecting the city. According to a message from Transports Metroplitans de Barcelona (TMB) picked up by Europa Press, the platform has been closed since approximately 4.20 pm, and trains going in this direction are not stopping at the station. For now, the L3 is the only Metro line affected by the rains on Monday, which according to Civil Protection are expected to reach their maximum level of danger from midnight in the case of Barcelona.
